What's New and Online

Creating a positive workplace culture: Workplace harassment prevention program from National Safety Coordinators. The purpose of this program is to enable your organisation to comply with Alberta’s new Occupational Health and Safety Act (2017), which came into effect on 1 June 2018.

About National Safety Coordinators

All the courses/programs/training represented on the National Safety Guide website are NSC approved. With over 100 locations to choose from across Canada students can attend one of our approved partner provider locations to attend training or we can send a trainer to your site for group training. Online courses for fall arrest, fall protection, working at heights, H2S, hydrogen sulphide, first aid, aerial work, elevated work and operators of heavy equipment are not acceptable at most job sites and these courses should be taken in a classroom setting and not online. It is important to get the hands-on practical experience that a classroom allows. NSC can invoice your organisation directly or students can pay by cash, debit, visa or mastercard.

NSC only partners with industry leaders and service industry experts whose programs meet and exceed medical and industry standards and guidelines and are approved provincially and nationally. We work with professional instructors with hands-on real life experiences to pull from. Their teaching styles and stories are meant to engage the adult learner.

Let NSC's knowledgeable staff ensure you get the correct training for the job site you are going to be working on. NSC works with locals, unions, non unions, individuals and companies equally. If you are a member of a training trust fund or have a gift card or promo code etc and need special forms filled in or reimbursements then please let us know at the time of booking. You will need to provide Government issued I.D. at the time of training. All training provided includes a certificate/ticket valid for three years.

Currently training is offered in the following cities but a trainer can be sent to any job site across Canada. Travel charges may apply if we have to send a trainer to your job site. Translators are also available by request and are an additional charge. If you have your own translator she/he will need to request permission to attend the course. It is important that ESL - English as a Second Language students understand the content to ensure their safety.
